I'm passionate about preserving historically significant architecture through photography.
There are souls who walked this worn out flooring. There was once life in these halls, sorrow, grief, and maybe a little fun. I picture their lives, their livelihood, those memories they've left behind.
Divine Despair is finding the beauty in what once was.
"Tears, idle tears, I know not what they mean,
Tears from the depth of some divine despair
Rise in the heart, and gather to the eyes,
In looking on the happy autumn-fields,
And thinking of the days that are no more."
